Clinical Pilates
At our Twickenham Pilates studio, highly-skilled, medical Pilates teachers will challenge you to effectively reduce your risk of injury and get a great work out. Our ethos is centred around educating you while you exercise so that you understand which muscles you are working and how to engage them.
There are a range of Pilates styles and levels of training. Our Pilates method is developed, and delivered, by Physiotherapists.
This difference is key as a physiotherapist has an in-depth knowledge of injury, pathology, body function and movement patterns.
Our Pilates classes are as safe for all as they are challenging and effective. Move Physio Pilates is here to help you to become a stronger, fitter and pain-free.
The first step is to undertake a Pilates assessment, and we can help guide you on what package is best for you. See below for more information.
OUR PILATES TIMETABLE
We offer classes from 7.30 am to 8.30 pm, which ensures that we have a class to fit your schedule whatever the time of day.
You will need to book your Pilates Assessment before you can join a class so that we can teach you the basics.

Clinical Pilates is excellent for injury prevention, whether you want to prevent injuries that can occur during daily activities or in high-impact sports. The small classes allow us to adapt the exercises to suit everyone. The idea is to heighten your awareness of your own body – promoting strength and flexibility using the correct muscles for the job.
Clinical Pilates should be seen as a complimentary exercise to your exercise or cross training/recovery programme. Exercises will be modified to suit your personal circumstances so you don’t need to worry that you’ll aggravate your injury by taking part. In fact, the research shows that it’s a great exercise for people with recurrent injuries or niggles.
