Asad Fazil
Biography
Asad is a BASRaT-registered Sports Rehabilitator with over four years of experience working in private practice, helping patients recover from a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports-related conditions. He is passionate about helping people reduce pain, restore movement, and return to the activities that matter most to them through personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation.
He holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Roehampton and an MSc in Sports Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Before beginning his career in rehabilitation, Asad spent over nine years as a Physical Education Secondary school teacher, where he developed a passion for coaching, educating, and empowering people to achieve their goals. This experience has shaped his approachable and supportive style, ensuring patients feel informed, confident, and involved throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Asad has a particular interest in restoring function by improving biomechanics, optimising posture, and identifying the underlying cause of pain rather than simply treating symptoms. He has experience working with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions in both sporting and general populations, tailoring every rehabilitation programme to the individual and their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Asad enjoys strength training, running, and previously competed in half marathons. Having played amateur football for many years, he still follows the game closely as a lifelong Manchester United supporter. A self-confessed foodie and coffee enthusiast, he’s always happy to travel in search of great coffee or exceptional food—especially Thai cuisine and Sushi. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his daughter and is incredibly proud to see her already developing her own coaching skills and enthusiasm for helping others
