Biography
Bal is a Physiotherapist with a background in Sport Rehabilitation and experience working with a wide range of patients across both the NHS and sporting environments. Bal graduated with a BSc in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University before completing an MSc in Physiotherapy at King’s College London.
Bal’s experience includes working within the NHS as well as with basketball and football clubs, supporting athletes and individuals across levels ranging from grassroots to semi-professional sport. This has provided Bal with experience managing a variety of injuries and helping people return to the activities that matter most to them.
Bal takes a patient-centred approach to rehabilitation, combining hands-on physiotherapy with personalised exercise programmes and education. Bal believes in working closely with each individual to understand their goals and create a rehabilitation plan that is both practical and achievable.
Outside of the clinic, Bal is a passionate Bhangra dancer and has competed in semi-professional and professional UK competitions, winning several along the way. This sporting background has given Bal a strong appreciation of the physical demands of performance, training and recovery.
Bal has also volunteered at the London MoonWalks and London Marathons, supporting participants with their physiotherapy needs, and has undertaken charity work with amputees in India, helping individuals improve their function and regain confidence.
Bal believes effective rehabilitation is about more than simply treating an injury. It is about understanding what is important to each individual, identifying the factors contributing to their symptoms and building a clear plan to help them move forward.
Whether recovering from a sports injury, returning to exercise or managing a musculoskeletal problem, Bal works closely with each individual throughout their rehabilitation to help them become stronger, more confident and resilient.
