Biography
Jemima is an approachable physiotherapist with a passion for helping people move well, continue doing what they love and preventing minor niggles from becoming bigger problems.
Jemima studied Exercise and Sport Science at Exeter University, before completing a Masters in Physiotherapy at City St George’s, University of London. Her experience in musculoskeletal outpatient settings enables her to treat a wide range of conditions, from everyday aches and pains to persistent injuries.
She has also provided on-site physiotherapy for Strictly Come Dancing and worked on many other dance productions. Working with performers showed her that effective treatment is not only about the injury, but about what your body needs to do day to day, whether that is a long shift, a run, a gym session or a performance. Prevention is central to her approach, she helps you build resilience, reduce injury risk and stay well for the long term.
Jemima combines hands-on treatment, exercise-based rehabilitation and education, so that you understand your condition and feel in control of your recovery. She builds each plan around your individual goals.
When she is not in the clinic, you will probably find Jemima teaching ballet at weekends. She grew up dancing, completing her RAD classical grades from the age of five and competing with her university dance teams.
