Biography
Laura Chauvet is a compassionate and attentive physiotherapist who brings a thoughtful, personalised approach to every patient she works with. She holds a Master’s in Physiotherapy (with Merit) from Brunel University London and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta in Canada.
With experience in both private practice and the NHS, Laura has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Patients often describe her as warm, approachable and easy to talk to. She takes the time to listen and creates a comfortable environment where people feel genuinely supported.
Laura combines strong clinical expertise with an evidence-based approach, tailoring each treatment plan to suit her patients’ individual needs and goals. Her research on the use of electrotherapy in stroke rehabilitation was published in the Journal of Electronics, highlighting her commitment to advancing care through science and innovation.
Known for being thorough, kind and genuinely invested in her patients’ progress, Laura helps people feel informed and confident throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of work, she stays active through Pilates, hiking, running and team sports like lacrosse and ringette, a fast-paced ice sport from her native Canada. Her love of movement and sport shapes her approach to physiotherapy and deepens her understanding of injury prevention and recovery.
