Lucy Burnell, MCSP HCPC

Senior Physiotherapist, Lead Pilates Teacher and Pre/Post-Natal Specialist

Having graduated from the University Of Liverpool in 2013 with a degree in Physiotherapy, Lucy Burnell has gained experience working as a Senior Physiotherapist within the NHS and has also worked for various rugby teams.

Lucy has a broad clinical skill set and is trained in Acupuncture, and has also trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute to teach matwork Pilates. She enjoys treating a variety of conditions including the upper and lower limb, and spinal conditions. Lucy enjoys a hands on approach to treatment including use of acupuncture, joint manual therapy, taping, soft tissue work, and strength and conditioning training.

Her treatment philosophy is to provide a holistic approach to each patient. Education forms an important part of each consultation; ensuring patients understand the cause of their condition and have the ability to manage it as well as possible. Additionally she is committed to health and wellbeing, aiming to improve patients’ quality of life through education and healthy lifestyle choices.

During her spare time Lucy enjoys being active, enjoying cycling, CrossFit, surfing and skiing. She also loves learning new languages and enjoys practising her Spanish and Portuguese.
